I’m heading your way, what time is lunch served. I LOVE this! So simple but, I’m quite sure, so delish! I’ll bring a loaf of warm crusty bread and we’ll sit and watch the herbs grow as we dine on this lovely lunch, how about it? 🙂
Thanks for visiting. This really is good, but I feel I can’t take too much credit; it is just a good recipe. I seem to do my best with good ingredients and then stay out of their way. I have my biggest fails when I try to get too intricate.
As far as the herbs, I am having really good luck with the basil with your help. Do you have any tips about growing parsley? It is cheap enough to buy, but I would like to have it on hand for the convenience of it.
This is so right up my alley! Making pesto is on my to do list today, so I will try this tonight, it just sounds divine! Btw, I got a pasta making attachment for my kitchenaid stand mixer and after 2 horrible results it went right back to WS. I have officially given up! Pasta is too easy to buy! Good luck, I hope you have great success and will let us know!

I thought this was a good change since pesto is usually made with basil. I don’t think I can take credit, only that I picked a good recipe. Thanks for visiting. Oh, that is exactly why I don’t want to purchase equipment only to clutter up my kitchen.
For me the secret to pulling together a good meal in minutes is a well stocked pantry. As long as I have a few basic ingredients in the cupboard and freezer I’m usually OK. You can never miss with a good pasta salad. The lemon and parsley in this recipe are so fresh and light.
Thank you Cathy for visiting. I try to keep the pantry stocked, but I am so sensitive to packaged food that it is difficult to stay prepared. But, I’m working on it. I am having better luck stocking my freezer and packaging it in small portions. You are right about the pasta salad – everyone likes a pasta salad.
This looks so tasty! I need to make this some time when my man’s at work because he doesn’t like noodles. Weird, right?
I wouldn’t have anything to offer an unexpected guest expect peanut butter and jelly!
This tastes like a meal you would have at an upscale restaurant, and it’s really is easy and quick. Sometimes husbands don’t like pasta, but if you top it with grilled chicken or shrimp it makes it more appealing. I hope you and your girlfriends will give it a try.
It has all the ingredients I love to add to pasta..
I love pasta in the first place..meal of choice for me..
And lemons? Just finished a little lmeon spree here:)

Welcome, I have been stalking your site for quiet awhile. I hope you will enjoy my recipes as much as I have enjoyed your garden, art, those cute little boys, and your wonderful recipes.
Lunch with friends is the best! I do it often. Your dish looks tasty and I would gobble it down in a hurry. I have only made homemade noodles. Love them for soup! I have a few fun things that I like to make. One is a hot chicken olive loaf. Stuffing a zucchini with a mixture of sausage, cheese, and bread crumbs is always fun when it’s so abundant. Also love pizza with garden veggies and basil. Pasta is always tasty! Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup. Hope to see you again.
hugs,
Jann
