I agree some jokes are just not funny. But my favorite April Fool’s jokes were ones’ my brother and I played on my Dad when we were small. He always fell for them, or so we thought. He would go around all day with one blue sock and one black sock. Love your berry fool. Happy Day Madonna.
I’m with you on April Fool’s — such a lame day. Nothing lame about this fool, however! I love berry fools — easy to make, incredibly delish. Just a good, good dessert. Yours looks terrific — thanks.
Thank you for visiting Daniela. I like the idea or the simplicity of a quick dessert after a complicated meal. Well really a quick meal works for me too.
One should definitely celebrate April 1st with treats – you can then forget about all those pranks that people play because your tummy is so full you simply don’t care!! Well, we might care some but our sugar addiction would be in full thrust at that time.
Your berries and cream look refreshing and delicious – love the little strawberry plate that you served them on – makes it special. Thanks for sharing it on your gallery at #simplybebetsy and for the link back to BeBetsy – take care and watch those trouble makers…

What a pretty dessert and pretty presentation Madonna. I love that strawberry plate. And I love your idea for storing strawberries. I do that with deli meat and sausages and it makes a huge difference but I never thought of using it with berries, brilliant!!
I had not heard of the deli and sausage storage, but it really buys you a little time with the berries. I will say the berries don’t last too long around here, but sometimes if you need a little time…

So pretty and I love that they can be assembled ahead.

Thanks Sam. Fool is pretty basic, but it tastes pretty good to finish the meal.

Mmm. This looks so good. Berries and cream are an unbeatable combo.
Thanks Lorrie. It is embarrassingly simple, but a great finish to a meal.
I like to use Maple Syrup instead of vanilla and sugar. It’s very tasty.
That sounds good too.

Sometimes the simplest desserts are the best.
Thanks Sandra. It really is the perfect finish, especially since berry season is starting.
Great minds think alike! I love that you and I have strawberries today and our dishes are even similar. 🙂

Thanks Jenna. It is funny now, but I still remember the panic. Not funny at all.

This is a fantastic easy recipe for when you have guests. Visiting from Wake Up Wednesday Linky Party!
Heidi, it is a perfect finish. Minimal work and presents beautifully. I am sure you will present it nicer than I did.
